Winterblast, was, in fact, a blast! High school students from all over the diocese gathered at Honeycreek to explore Advent and the blessed hope we have in Jesus. To prepare for the coming of the Christ by reaching out, participants made crafts and cards for the elderly in an assisted living facility. Other highlights included a sunrise Eucharist and a large scale game that incorporated elements of waiting and anticipation. The Youth Commission also met to discuss programming for the new year and Convention 2011 plans.
