Scholarship Application

Use this application to apply for scholarship to attend an event in The Episcopal Diocese of Georgia. Please do not fill out this application until you have asked your priest/home church for assistance first. Assistance is offered on a need-based, first-come, first-served basis. Though financial hardship should never keep a young person from attending an event in The Diocese of Georgia, we still need to be good stewards of our resources. To this end, all scholarship applications must be received no less than seven days (one week) before the start of the event for which you are asking for assistance.  The preference of The Diocese is to provide assistance based on a model of thirds, with the participant paying one third of the cost of the event, the participant’s home church paying one third of the cost, and finally, the diocese paying one third. In this way, all interested parties share part of the financial responsibility. However, if the participant or participant’s family cannot afford to pay one third of the total cost, further options can be discussed. For further questions on this, please contact Canon Hall.
